Luke's Show Guppies

The following true-breeding, show-quality color strains are available for purchase from Luke Roebuck.

BLACKS:   $35/PAIR OR $50 / TRIO

The original line of this strain originated from Adrian Hernandez in Florida, and was outcrossed by Craig Smith to a Jamie Magnifico Purple, to create the new line. The caudal had a much better delta shape than most other blacks that were on the show bench at that time and has a large matching dorsal. The original line were "super wides" with huge plume dorsals. The current line now encompasses line crosses which include my original strain. Please check my stocklist or contact me by e-mail for current availability status.

HALF-BLACK AOC:   $35/PAIR OR $50/ TRIO

This line originated from Tobey Ann Kotner stock. They are extremely fertile and throw several color variants all with good show qualities. Color patterns vary from a pastel with medium black spots to a lavender purple with striated black spots to occasional mint green with black spots. Females are also show quality. Current line pedigree status remains the same. The quality has not changed appreciably. Please check my stocklist or contact me by e-mail for current availability status.

HALF-BLACK YELLOWS:   $35/PAIR OR $50/ TRIO

The original line came from Joe Rankin stock and the current line pedigree encompasses a cross to my gold line to maintain vigour and yellow color intensity. Some gold variants will come from the current stock. They make a very compatible line for crossing. Half black body color has not been compromised. Please check my stocklist or contact me by e-mail for current availability status.

Very fertile and hardy. Recommended.

VARIGATED SNAKESKINS:   $35/PAIR OR $50/ TRIO

The snakeskin color strain is one of my favorites. I have been playing with this strain for a number of years. The photos above show a line of snakeskins that originated from Rich Bader/Frank Chang stock. They are very slow growing, medium to large bodied, and have large matching dorsal fins for snakeskins. Winners of the snakeskin varigated delta color class in 1996 and 1997. This line also throws Albino yellow lace snakeskins. Current lineage remains the same. Please check my stocklist or contact me by e-mail for current availability status.
